Reasons for invading Iraq? We don't need no stinking reasons.
Thanks to Andrew Sullivan, I came across this rather enlightening on outragedmoderates.org entitled "DoD Staffer's Notes from 9/11 Obtained Under FOIA." Just read it. I was not the least bit surprised, but still, to see the actual proof was a real kick.

I know that is the general rule, but in this instance, it seems like the economic benefits have gone to a select few companies rather than the country as a whole. Maybe I'm just a bit too cynical...
Actually, I thought you were being subtle, whereas I was being crass. :-)
But seriously, I am glad to know there has been some more widespread economic benefit.
