The Cowboys choke against the Redskins.

What a collapse by the 'Boys. Two touchdowns on long passes in the last 3:45 of the game. Roy Williams needs to learn his role as a safety, especially since his ass got torched on the same pattern twice for Washington touchdowns. Larry Allen needs to be benched for stupidity, as his holding call deep in Washington territory shot the wheels off a drive and caused Dallas to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown that would have put the game out of reach. Flozell Adams deserves the same fate for a holding call on a play that would have given Dallas a first down and allowed the Cowboys to then run out the clock. Drew Bledsoe consistently underthrew open recievers in the 4th quarter.

What a pitiful showing.

Yep, it sure is a nice view from the top here in Giant land.

The Giants have looked solid so far. They just better beat the Iggles.

The worst part about the game last night was watching Little Danny Snider celebrate when Moss scored the second TD. That really drove me crazy.

Being a Giants fan I was pleased with the game last night, they seemed to play with more spirit. But, there were some high and low points. It is unusual at the professional level to give a hand the opposing players after a play is over, yet I saw that happen several times last night. But, the comraderie was spoiled by the unsportsmanlike penalites that occured. That was uncalled for.

It had been hyped that NO would be considered the home team even though played in NJ - it was no surprise. So I was chagrined to read Brook's comments in the paper and the NO coach, though a little more discrete, came across as a whiner too. Brooks said, "Try not to patronize us next time, traveling us to New York, saying we're playing a home game." Hey Brooks and the others, this was not about you. During the game there was a telethon going on to raise money to help the Katrina victims. The Giants set aside a block of seats for displaced NO fans. We NY'ers are often accused of being cold and unfriendly. We wanted the people of NO to feel welcome. Last night's hoopla was about the American spirit and was a way to honor those in LA and MS who lost everything but came out with their heads held high. Most likely most if not all of the Saints players and coaches lost little or nothing. They don't live in NO. They live elsewhere like most pro athletes do. Again, Brooks... it wasn't about you.

I can understand why Brooks, Haslet, and others said what they said. However, that does not mean they should have said those things.

Irrespective of those comments, everything that was done for this game shows once again that the Giants organization is one of the classiest around. And that comes from a Cowboys fan. ;-)

The Saints do have a challenging season ahead of them.

I do look forward to the upcoming Giants - Cowboys game. But, be assured when the Giants whup the Cowboys, I will be magnanimous in any comments I make and not do a verbal victory dance.
