The Astros ended the game with yet another leadoff runner in scoring position and a weak grounder.
As a baseball fan, I lived by the sweep last year, and this year I died by the sweep.

Well, I guess I called that one wrong. The Sox did pack their brooms when they flew to Houston. But, the Astros can still take pride in making it to the series. There's always next year.
The Astros absolutely should be proud that they made it to the Series. Despite my frustration with how they played, I am also very proud to be an Astros fan. There is always next year, but I am wondering what the team will look like. Clemens might not be back, and the same goes for the Bagwell, depending on how his surgery and rehab goes.
Clemens should retire after that game the other night. It's time for him to hang it up. Of course after his antics with Piazza a couple years ago, I'm not a Clemens fan.
I was disappointed when the Yanks let Pettite get away. He should do well for the Astros in the future.
